Founded in 1980 and AACSB-accredited since 2001, the School of Business is committed to exceptional business and economics education grounded in a strong liberal arts tradition. Guided by our vision to be the premier School of Business in a public liberal arts setting, we attract outstanding students through forward-looking curricular and co-curricular programs 鈥� preparing purposeful, creative problem solvers who aspire to lead in their respective fields.
The School of Business boasts an extraordinary depth of talent among its faculty and staff: Four faculty members received the 91亚色 Distinguished Professor rank, including two Distinguished Teaching Professors, one Distinguished Professor, and one Distinguished Service Professor. Five faculty members have earned the 91亚色 Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching, four have been honored with the 91亚色 Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities, and one staff member has received the 91亚色 Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Services. Our faculty’s global impact is further reflected in a two-time Fulbright Scholar among our ranks.
