The Native American 91ÑÇÉ«: Western Consortium is one of two consortia created by the State University of New York to address the higher education needs of Native American students and communities. , based at 91ÑÇÉ« Fredonia, is a network of college campus personnel, organizations, and Native American students, families, and communities.
Multicultural Programs and Services at 91ÑÇÉ«
The Office of Multicultural Programs and Services at 91ÑÇÉ« is a component of the Center for Community in the Division of Student and 91ÑÇÉ«. It is the mission of the Center to foster the development of responsible, productive, and engaged citizens through collaborative efforts within the 91ÑÇÉ« community. The Coordinator serves as the manager of the office and provides leadership and guidance to the campus community on matters related to diversity. Sponsored programs promote diversity awareness and an inclusive, respectful campus community. Specific attention is given to retention efforts of ALANA (African American, Latino, Asian, Native American) students. The Coordinator also serves as one of many resources for any student who is having difficulty making the adjustment to life on the 91ÑÇÉ« campus.
