Research Interests

My research focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of the marginalization of women particularly in the domains of sexual assault and the underrepresentation of women in positions of leadership and STEM fields. In particular, I focus on subtle forms of sexism and socio-cultural factors that shape perceptions of women in these domains, and how these perceptions impact women鈥檚 behavior, self-esteem, and self-perceptions.
