The School of Arts and Sciences is the College鈥檚 largest academic unit, offering a broad range of departments and academic offerings. Faculty in the Arts and Sciences disciplines hold 12 of the College’s 17 distinguished rank appointments and 43 Chancellor’s Awards for excellence in teaching. Small average class sizes provide excellent opportunities for close, active collaboration with faculty and outstanding opportunities for undergraduate research.
