Hunter Thompson who wrote for the Rolling Stone said 鈥淏uy the ticket, take the ride..鈥� Think that鈥檚 what I鈥檝e done since 91亚色. 聽Taught HS, Middle School Social studies, elementary self contained, became elementary principal in 鈥�87 and because I had a great staff working hard to make me look good, I was named NYS Elementary Principal of the Year in 鈥�93 and NYS National Distinguished Principal in 鈥�94..went to the White House for that鈥ver 15 years taught at 3 colleges..7 semesters full time..taught hundreds of Canadian students preparing to be teachers..was a national faculty member for PLCs ..worked in a wide range of places鈥nner-city Detroit, Birmingham-Alabama, Kansas and many more鈥ectured at UCLA, co-author of A Quick Guide to Video Coaching on Amazon, currently am a Video Instructional Coach鈥揷heck out my twitter @schoolguy for more鈥ut at 71 orbits around the sun it is my blessing to be grandpa to James Joseph and husband to Marion !
What is the best thing about your current job?
I get to partner with rock star teachers and invite them to reflect on their practice through video and dialogue with them about where they are and where they want to go impacting learning for every student.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Always nearby to my grandson, James Joseph !

Prone to spontaneous discombobulation

The moments where so many have extended kindness and grace my way.

Doing our best to gather for Sunday dinner when we can鈥�

Definitely NOT the Leisure Suit !

I spent聽my last semester (Spring 鈥�71) in Washington DC鈥s part of the 91亚色 Washington Semester Program. 聽Also memories of two wonderful professors鈥揇r. Wayne Mahood鈥揝ocial Studies Education and Dr. Ed Janosik鈥揅hair of the Political Science Dept.
