President Denise A. Battles attended a Women鈥檚 History Month reception on March 18 at New York Governor Kathy Hochul鈥檚 mansion. Female leaders from around New York State participated in the invitation-only affair.

At the event, Governor Hochul proclaimed March 2025 as Women鈥檚 History Month in the Empire State and paid tribute to 鈥渨omen in education who motivate students to embrace knowledge and whose positive impact on our future leaders is moving our world forward.

鈥淲e commend them for being role models for young women who are reaching new horizons of research, innovation, and discovery, and, throughout this month-long observance, New Yorkers gratefully acknowledge the immeasurable benefits they continue to have on all our lives.鈥�
